MIND-BODY WORKSHOP
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
Welcome to the ‘REWIRE YOUR BRAIN IN 7 MINUTES OR LESS’ Workshop! We are delighted to have you join us on this journey of self-discovery and holistic well-being. To ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching experience for all, please take a moment to review the following guidelines.
1. General Workshop Etiquette
-
Punctuality: Please arrive on time to allow the workshop to start and end as scheduled. If you arrive late, please enter quietly and find a space without disrupting the group. Sessions will commence on time.
-
Breaks: We will have scheduled breaks. Please use this time to hydrate, or have a light snack. Be seated on time for the next segment.
-
Questions and Sharing: As facilitator, I am here to support you. Please feel free to ask questions during designated times.
-
Communication: Do not engage in conversation while I, or other participants are speaking. Not only is that behavior disrespectful, it makes it difficult for other participants to hear what is relevant and important.
-
Cell phones: Recording in any form is prohibited. Please completely silence your cell phone and other electronic devices. This helps maintain a focused environment for everyone.
2. Creating a Safe and Supportive Space
-
Confidentiality: What is shared in the workshop, (other participant identifiers) stays in the workshop. This creates a safe space for vulnerability and honest expression. Please respect the privacy of your fellow participants.
-
Active Listening: Listen with an open mind and a compassionate heart. Focus on understanding others' perspectives without judgment or interruption. Please respect the diversity of beliefs, experiences, and levels of comfort within the group. There is no "right" way to do things; the goal is to find what works for you.
3. Engaging with the Practices
-
Listen to Your Body: This is a core principle of mind-body-spirit health. The goal of these practices is to cultivate a deeper connection with yourself. Let go of self-criticism and embrace the process of exploration.
-
Come as You Are: Wear casual comfortable / layered clothing. An open mind and a willingness to explore are the most important tools you can bring.
By participating in this workshop, you agree to these guidelines. We believe that by working together, we can create a powerful and transformative experience for everyone. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
